    Good call....+1 on Jimmy's advice.

I'm going to do my roofbox this winter also.

Even if I hadn't decided to fix the roofbox now I would have changed my mind. When I unbolted the torsion bar retaining plate I definitely noticed the roof moving. Not to frighten anyone but I really think if the epoxy holding the roof down hasn't let go yet it will sooner rather than later.

I read/heard somewhere the vendors mentioning how they're seeing a lot more roof box separations....sounds like the glue that was used is reaching the end of its effective lifespan.

Agreed . Mike told me the same thing. I am honestly impressed that glue lasted this long as it is .

Might have to look into this. Not because I'm having a problem. I just want to sniff the old glue.

I know picking on Gurus is old sport here but this guy makes it so easy. Does he get a hard on regurgitating stuff that has already been stated?: http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?16...rs-Blues/page2

I guess I should be glad it lasted as long as it did. At least for the GRP body DMC also stapled it around the edges. Shame they just didn't bolt the roof down in the first place
