Actually I feel I owe you and Mike in Rochester an apology. We tentatively planned for him to come here on 11/17 but stupid Nick didn't have the roof done in time and stupid Mother Nature buried CNY with snow on the 16th so I never confirmed with Mike. I was thinking of asking if he could come another time but then I decided to at least try to install one torsion bar and it went more smoothly than I had dared to hope so before I knew it I had it done. Now I'm kind of disappointed because I blew a chance to meet some new guys

The driver side one is awesome. I've been super busy lately and haven't had time to get the passenger side welded/repaired. Hopefully I'll be able to take care of it early next week.

I canít believe I am asking this but does anyone have a used torsion bar for sale?

I got my car back from Grady the other day and learned that the torsion springs make it harder to shut the doors than the old school torsion bars.

I have an original torsion bar on my passenger side door and it shuts so elegantly.

I have the Henninger torsion spring on my driver side door and while it does shut and open fine, it takes a little more effort to shut the door.

Grady is convinced this is because of how heavy duty the spring is built.

Iíd like to buy a used torsion bar ideally for a price similar to what I sold mine for.

If anyone hears of any for sale please let me know. Thanks.
