I acquired 754 with a nice plush set of original floor mats. The only problem was a fold in the middle and rub hole on the bottom.
So I proceeded to flip over the mat in the sun. Stretched it out, then put five coats of plastidip spray.
After it was done curing I bought a peel and stick tile for a buck fifty, then stick it on the back.
I them used a piece of anti skid padding for drawers/cabinets.
She don't move or bunch up anymore!

Interesting approach, and a great and innovative way of dealing with the issue!

Thanks for sharing with the rest of us - certainly looks like it will hold up indefinitely into the future

Damn straight - they gave me the flush, :flushed:, and then did this to me :fina:

I'm Switzerland. Hehe

That's probably for the best - I just couldn't do it while remaining true to myself :ca:

Is the tile used to stop it bunching up or to fill in the hole?

The hole was covered with the plastidip spray.

If that does not work out, you can try this:
I brought a set of carpet protectors for the DMC from American FlootMats. I think they were $30. I trimmed them to fit the underside of my mats. Used contact cement to glue them together. I will post in a few weeks if it holds up.
